For nearly a century, this corner of Phoenix Street has brought people together. What started as a neighborhood cigar shop in the early days of Canandaigua gave way to something even more enduring. Beginning in 1933, the first bar opened in this very location under the name The Oasis, and it has been a bar and tavern ever since.
Today, Tavern Off Main carries that tradition forward. We're a cozy tavern in the heart of downtown Canandaigua, serving up classic pub fare, cold drinks, and live music in a space that feels like it's always been here, because it has.
